Petrified Wood and Yellow Granite Cabochons

This batch is a couple of good colors! The yellow stone is one I found in a driveway gravel and polished (turned out pretty good) The measurements are roughly 3x2 cm and 5mm thick. The back of this cabochon is flat and unpolished and was made for a silversmith in mind.

Then we have a slice of a limb cast of some Blue Forest petrified wood. I love petrified woods! I love when you can see the grains and fibers. I left the edges rough and the way the limb was. Because of this I polished the back side of it so it would make a better wire wrap project or a statement piece.
